Hello, everyone. I am sorry that this post is coming later than expected, but I am now done with my finals! I only have three more semesters!
Anyways, in my last post, I introduced myself shortly and explained why I started this blog. In this post, I wish to cast a vision for this blog and tell you why I named it A Rose In A Thorn Bush.
Ultimately, I created this blog as an outlet to express myself and to share my journey through writing. My vision is that, God willing, my story will reach someone else and help them in their own walk of life. If just one person is inspired or moved by this blog, my vision will have come to fruition.
With that vision in mind, let me know tell you why I named this blog A Rose In A Thorn Bush… In front of my house are two beautiful rose bushes that bear bright pink blooms each year. I love looking at them, but as we all know, rose bushes protect themselves by also growing many thorns. You can look, but be careful when you touch! This is true of life too. Life is full of thorns that cut and scratch when touched. My life is no different. I have had my full share of thorns. I have been cut many times, but I, the rose, have persisted. I remain among the thorns, a beautiful declaration of the redemption of Jesus Christ. I am a rose in a thorn bush.
The Lord bless you and keep you.

I enjoy watching you grow and bloom. Beautiful and good fruit grows within you.

It is important that you acknowledge the thorns in life, for everyone has them. The more important point you make is that you are not a thorn but a rose. Always remember that, and keep blooming.
